I'm back.

Sorry it took a while for me to post. Not having your own computer does complicate things, but that should change soon......Hopefully. Either way, I will do my best to update as much as possible, despite my limitations.

Anyway, I should be starting another job this week at my roommate's GameStop, so that should be a big help with bills and such. I never really thought that I would be holding 3 jobs while going to school. I'm currently a staff writer for the FIU Beacon. I'm still helping out with my Dad's small buisness and commuting to FIU Biscayne Bay Campus to take 6 credits. I'm still amazed that I'm handling all this right now. I've been broke for quite sometime now. In fact, I couldn't even buy my books this semester. But still, the last few months living on my own have been rather enjoyable and I have no complaints or regrets. I finally have my freedom.

Day 1

Well, here it is. My new blog. I guess I'll start it off by introducing myself.

My name is Luis H. Garcia. I'm 27 years old. Born, raised and living my whole life in Miami, Florida. I'm currently double majoring in Print Journalism and English at FIU. When I'm not working on trying to finally graduate or paying rent, I go to church, hang out with my friends and play way too many video games. That's pretty much me in a nutshell, so hopefully I'll be coming up with interesting stuff to write on here in the future.

Oh and here's what I look like. I just got a haircut yesterday and getting used to this camera I just got. My hair was MUCH longer before. I had to cut it because I'm starting a new job tomorrow. It's nice and I've gotten great feedback from people, but I still miss my old hair though. It'll grow back, so no worries.
